LAB SERVICES

Testing in our lab — and in yours

We offer a single-solution IPP compound and perform a series of tests in our lab to be sure it meets your unique specifications — both during production in the equipment at your plant and in the finished product you deliver to your customers. To meet all your specs, whether you’re using our polymer for modifying asphalt or for extrusion or injection molding of plastics and rubber, we test samples at various phases in your buying journey with us.

No matter where you are in your sustainability journey, we offer a variety of consulting services to help you either improve your current program or create a new one from the ground up.

What we test.

  • Samples from our recycling partners
  • Samples from you

In OUR lab:

Before we buy from a recycling supplier, we test a sample of their recycled plastic to determine its suitability for your particular purpose. For example, are you looking to increase or decrease the viscosity in your current compound? To know if a particular recycled plastic can meet this spec, we test it in our lab.

We progress from testing suppliers’ samples to testing our single-solution IPP compound in one of your current samples to determine how we can modify it to achieve your goals. Unlike many of our competitors, we have equipment designed specifically for testing modified asphalt mixes.

In YOUR lab:

Once we have a mix that meets your specs, we’ll send you a sample to test in your own lab. Often, one of us will come to your lab to assist in your testing to gain insights into further modifications that might be needed.

With YOUR equipment:

If those tests are successful, we’ll send you larger amounts to perform production trials in your own equipment. We’ll know if further modifications are needed and make them. Only when all these tests prove that our new compound will meet your specs are we ready to talk about final pricing.

Compounds We Test

  • Modified asphalt
  • Plastics
  • Rubber

Will increasing the percentage of IPP in your polymer mix or replacing your APP entirely with our single-solution IPP compound lower your costs? Let’s do some no-cost, no-obligation tests on your samples to find out.
