Our Company started in 1998 as General Polymers, LLC to fulfill a need to provide a great and consistent Raw Material products at competitive prices to Commercial Roofing Manufacturers. Our founder, Marco Danese, brought 30+ Years of experience of owning a Multi-National Asphalt Membrane Manufacturing Company. He was successful in building 5 Roofing Manufacturing Plants in 3 Countries and sold the company in 1996.

Initially, General Polymers supplied Nonwoven Polyester Mat and Densified Polypropylene to Commercial Roofing Manufacturers mainly in Latin America. Within a few years, the Company added Fiberglass Mat and TPO Membrane Sells to their Product Line.
In 2008, his son Stefano Danese joined the Company after graduating from Georgia Institute of Technology and working for 4 years as Plant Manager for General Industrial Polymers in Baytown, Texas.

In 2014, for strategic reasons the company decided to change its name to SD Polymers, LLC.
Today, the Company still serves its traditional Roofing Customers with Raw Materials and also produces APP Compounds for APP Membrane Manufacturing. However, it has diversified more into serving the Plastics Industry. We compound Post-Industrial Plastic Pellets for Injection Molders domestically for many different applications. We additionally perform converting services for the Nonwovens Industry.
Our Company is headquartered in Macon, Georgia. We have over 120,000 sq.ft. of Warehouse Space . We have a full scale Lab for Raw Material and Finished Goods testing.
